Grace Yu 余天璇
Grace Yu was born in Chongqing, China. She received elementary and secondary education in Hong Kong, and graduated from the Department of Foreign Languages and Literature at National Taiwan University. She holds a Ph. D. Degree in Comparative Literature at the University of California, Berkeley, and furthered her studies in Second Language Acquisition at New York University.
She has been serving as a professor of English as a Second Language and Asian Studies for more than thirty years in the California universities.
She is fun loving, and enjoys traveling, reading, singing art songs and arias, painting, playing the piano, playing ping pong as well as cooking.
She has studied Chinese brush painting with Professor Lampo Leong and Professor Zhou Xiguang.
Since 2012 she has been learning Lingnan style painting from Teacher Kan Kwok Fan.
